Midnight March Madness

KC STAAR sponsored its first (of hopefully many) substance free nights for high school students of Keota, Pekin, Sigourney and Tri-County Schools.
Midnight March Madness was held at the Sigourney High School from 10 PM til 2 AM.  Approximately 80 students from 8th -12th grade attended the evening of games, music, food, and fun.
Planned activities included the National Guard's jousting , tug-o-war competitions, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, "drunk goggle" challenge course,  card games, a movie and  various video games. Pizza Ranch pizza, pop and other snacks were served.

Community members and school staff volunteered their time, snacks, and supplies to make this event a success.  KC STAAR members did various fund raisers to make this event happen.  KC STAAR wishes to thank all members, volunteers, donators, and participants for their support.
